The complete renovation of Grange House involved a full strip-out of the property, the conversion of both the main house and chapel, and the construction of a large extension to accommodate the pharmacy.
As a Listed building dating back to the late nineteenth century, Grange House is an important part of the Island’s heritage. Great care was taken to preserve its character while transforming it into a modern GP surgery. Integrating new infrastructure with the building’s 120-year-old features presented challenges, but the result successfully blends old and new.
The new medical centre opened on schedule in November 2024, when Queens Road Medical Practice began welcoming patients into its new facility.
