Working closely with our client, Field Day Developments, the comprehensive renovation of this office building has seen it transformed from a dated industrial office to a modern, flexible space. The building is split into two, with a central atrium dividing them and giving the iconic building its distinctive appearance.
The project was a resounding success, but not without its challenges. Contracts Manager, Stuart Austin reflects, “We had to plan the work carefully as there were still tenants in both sides of the building when we began work. The project ended up being a bit more complicated than initially thought as we discovered that the end section of the floor on each of the levels needed to be removed to enable us to fully damp proof and tank the walls.”
